DMA EAP Our Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP's) can be used to address a broad range of topics which may be encountered in the workplace. In offering these programmes, our focus is to maintain a strict adherence to the concept of serving two clients - the Employer and the Employee. The employer benefits from a more motivated and high-performance work force, whilst the employee is able to address personal problems that negatively impact on their work-life balance. Programmes offered include DMA EAP’s Financial Wellness Programme, Soft Skills Development Programmes, covering topics such as Conflict Management, Assertiveness in the Workplace, Interpersonal Skills, Time Management and a five module Call and Contact Centre Programme. FINANCIAL WELLNESS PROGRAMME Our research has shown that in terms of Employee Assistance, the most pressing needs are currently to be found in the area of Financial Wellness. The estimated 2-million garnishee orders currently effective in South Africa confirm the high level of employee debt, which has a negative effect on absenteeism, morale and theft. Administering these deductions also creates an additional workload for employers. Our programme consists of nine modules covering topics such as How to Plan for Financial Success, Understanding your Debt Position and the Elimination of Debt. Case studies and both group and individual exercises are used to emphasise these learnings.
